With our new Glass Drilling Kit you can drill straight, smooth holes without a drill press. The template/dam sticks to the glass to hold the drill in place and the coolant around the drill. The back of the template/dam is covered with a reusable, water resistant adhesive that can be rinsed, dried and reused indefinitely.
The Kit includes enough water-soluble, biodegradable, powdered, synthetic coolant for about fifty holes. We measure out the concentrate and you add the water. When you get the bottle just fill and shake. The coolant has an indefinite shelf life and it won't interfere with the mirroring process.
The hard nylon exit sheet minimizes chipping. The diamond core drill bit cut faster than a solid bit, but experience has shown that the glass core it produces can get stuck inside the bit, so we include a core removing tool.
